Age 90
Sadly we report that GGHG WW II Veteran and long-time resident of North Vancouver, Tpr. Car Uhl, passed away peacefully on May 13 of this year at the age of 90 years. Carl served with theGovernor General’s Horse Guards in Europe and the Mediterranean and met and married his wife Dorothy in the United Kingdom.
He is survived by Dorothy and their daughter Lesley and grandson Tyler Burchynsky. As per his wishes, Carl was interred in Vancouver during a private family gathering. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Dorothy for the loss of her partner of 67 years and to their daughter Lesley.
