WW II Veteran passed away on March 2nd, 2011, in his 98th year, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Howard was a former Governor General’s Horse Guards officer and Troop Leader who served in Italy during the Second World War He is survived by his wife Gwendolyn (née Trull) and his children Sharon McNab (Bruce James), and Jennifer Gordon (Fraser). He was a former owner of Curran & Briggs Ready Mix Concrete, a member of St. George’s Memorial Anglican Church, Oshawa Rotary Club, Oshawa Golf and Curling Club, Life Member of the Masonic – Composite Lodge District of Oshawa #30, and #35 Whitby – Keystone Chapter.
