It is our sad duty to report the passing of GGHG WW II Veteran Kenneth Dixon on Saturday, June 25, 2011 in his 89th year.
He was a retired 47 year employee of Anaconda Brass New Toronto. Kenneth was also a Member of Hall of Fame Mimico Lacrosse Ontario and Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame; Former member of Mimico Mann Cup Champions 1942; Member of Ontario Old-timer’s Lacrosse Association. He is survived by his wife of almost 65 years, Merle Lee (long-time residents of Algoma Street, Etobicoke), his sons Robert (Anne), Randy (Laura) and Rick (Mary Anne).
