It is our sad duty to report that GGHG WW II Veteran and Association Member, Tpr Wallace John “Wally” Rockwell, passed away peacefully at home in Oakville on June 11th, 2010, in his 87th year.
Wally, as he was affectionately known by his comrades, was a truck driver during the Regiment’s time in action over in Europe during the w ar. Our deepest condolences go out to his daughters Sharon (David) Frizzell and Alrene (Al) Heywood.
A funeral service was held on Monday, June 14, 2010 in Oakville As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
