Age 86
Willie MacKenzie, wife of Sgt. (Ret’d) Gord MacKenzie of the Governor General’s Horse Guards, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2010 at Humber River Regional Hospital.
Willie and Gord were married for 61 years and both retired two years ago from the Warriors’ Day Parade Council after over 20 years of judging with the Warriors’ Day Parade.
The Governor General’s Horse Guards Association sends its deepest condolences to Gord, his daughter Jacqueline Holden and his sons William “Bill” ( Lena ) and Richard (Sue) and their families.
