Fellow Horse Guards and Musicians:
It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Jung announces his passing on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 at the age of 58. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his cherished daughter Melissa, son-in-law Ivan, and grandson Oliver. He will be greatly missed by his father Knock Yee Jung and his mother Mark Hang Gee Jung. He is survived by his siblings Sue, Doris, May, Nora, and Chuck. He will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Bob will also be fondly remembered for his kind heart and love for music and served as an Associate Member of the Band of the Governor General’s Horse Guards for over 25 years. He was a talented musician and his bandmates were his second family. At family celebrations, Bob was always excited to be with everyone and provide the musical entertainment. He was a very dedicated family man and much adored by his family and friends.
