With sadness, the Governor General’s Horse Guards Association acknowledges the passing of the following member of the Regimental Family:
With sadness we note the passing of Edythe Burgess on Sunday, November 21st 2010. Edyth w as married for 58 years to the late Jack Burgess, a WW II Veteran of the Governor General’s Horse Guards. She was the mother of two sons, Kemp and Arthur, both deceased at an early age. Interment has already taken place at Erskine Cemetery, Pickering.
A Celebration of Life was held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Pickering on Wednesday, December 8th, 2010.
